I'm teaching on Outschool!
I believe that learning should be fun and move forward at a pace that works for everyone. If you really love something, why not dive in deeper? I am the type of teacher that will work with each individual learner to meet them where they are and find the best approach to learning and growth. There is no one right way to teach or learn because everyone is different. We will find what works for you! Let's dive into all things musical theatre, acting, and so much more.
LIVE from Quarantine
A group of artists from a production company called TableĀ Top Broadway, put together "LiveĀ fromĀ Quarantine" a few months ago to provide a creative outlet for and support some unemployed artists in this hard time. A portion of the proceeds fromĀ ticket sales will be donated to a human rights organization, and any remaining donations from tickets will be split between the cast and production company.
The Mad Ones Lab
In the new world of virtual theatre, I was very fortunate to be a part of Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk's virtual Lab of their original musical, The Mad Ones. This was an incredible experience where the show was split into 20 sections and artists from all over the world worked to create a piece or two of the show.
I played the role of Kelly in Section 5 under the direction of Corey Ragan, you can view here, and the role of Sam in Section 17 under the direction of Ashleigh David, linked here.
You can also view the full engine of the Lab, where there are over 2 billion possible combinations of the full show.
Rainbow Ring
I have had the opportunity to be a part of Trevor Brown and Rafael Cintron's original musical "Rainbow Ring" since October 2019. This year, despite all of the difficulties due to the pandemic, we were able to re-work the show and perform a reading over Zoom.
Filling in the gaps of the cast, and managing technical difficulties of Zoom, I was able to explore the characters of Dawn and Maddie, while experimenting with Audacity and sharpening my sound editing and production skills.
Information about the show and future productions can be found on the show's official website.
